Donate a Coat

I grew up in Anchorage Alaska where the average temperature in winter is 11 – 23 degrees Fahrenheit.  It was cooooooold and I was extremely grateful for a coat.

I was blessed to have one.

Sadly, there are thousands of people in our communities that don’t have coats and may not be prepared for the winter weather ahead.  One Warm Coat  is a website to dedicated to nation-wide coat collection and distribution – they are collecting coats in Salt Lake County now until November 22nd!  They recently donated coats to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada who stated,

“Many times our families have to make a choice whether to buy coasts for their kids or pay rent.  The coats we received make that decision an easier one.”

You and I can make a difference.

Go through your closets this week and collect unwanted coats, jackets, sweatshirts and donate them to your local collection agency.

For every coat you donate give yourself 50 clicks!

That’s right…50!

If you donate 2 coats – take 100 clicks.

If you donate 3 coats – take 150 clicks.

If you donate 356 coats – take 17,800 clicks!  (You get the idea…)

Once you donate, let us know via Facebook, or by leaving a comment on this blog or by sending an email to info@billionclicks.org.  Tell us you donated and enter your clicks!  And we’ll enter your name in a drawing for a chance to win…

…this adorable notebook (filled with inspiring quotes), the HOPE window cards and a clicker!  All that for clearing out your old coats.  What a deal!

You have one week to get your coats donated.  We’ll draw and announce the winner next Monday, November 19th.

Think. Click. Be…

a coat donor.
